Evaluation of each story board

Photographic images of shots from our film (realistic version of story board)

Here is our drawing version of our story board

You can see a change within each of our story boards this is due to new ideas we thought of during the process of filming, but you can still see some similarities for example the shot of the door and the shot in bed on the phone. Also the close up shots and the extreme close up shots of the necklace on the chest.
I think by changing our shots it has made our film more interesting, it has also enabled us to add more shots in.

Film production

My genre for my film is Horror this is for my AS Studies Film Opening.
Here is a some images of some of our shots.

My movie is a horror it is about a young girl who invites her friends over for a night in to watch scary movies. But what she doesnt realise is that her and her friends are in for a night that will go down in history.  My film opening will give the audience a little insight of the film and make them want to know what happens next, we present only a short snip to engage the audience, thats the main reason why we left our last shot of a girl/ figure screaming.

Equipment

Hi Daisy & Dilara,
You may borrow the equipment on the 14th. But please let me know what time you wish to collect it also when you are going to return it. As you are borrowing the lights these need to be picked up with a car as they are to heavy and bulky to take on Public Transport.

Planning

The planning of my opening film;

I am working in a pair with Dilara Ozbalci, the genre of our film is a horror. Our target audience for our opening title sequence is for an audience aged 15 and above.

Summary of our opening title sequence;
In our film it with include a teenage group of students from London, They are heading off for a road trip to celebrate the christmas holidays, this happens in the year 2012. Unfortunately they come across a video camera containing horrific footage which sends their vacation down the complete opposite road. For them to survive the group must do certain tasks and avoid certain places captured in the footage on the camera.

The title;
The name of our film is 'Captured'

What we aim to do;
Through the opening of our film we hope to engage our target audience and making them want to see more of the film.

Main character;
We have 5 main characters in this film, through the opening title sequence we hope to give the audience a brief insight of each characters personality and their role in the film.

The audiences experience;
We are going to be using a lot of various camera angles and editing skills, by doing this we hope to engage the audience to make them feel as if they are involved in the movie, this makes the film much more of a horror for them.

Where the film is set;
 Our opening title sequence is set mainly on a deserted road going through a forest, the road is very narrow and there are trees all around it this makes the characters and the audience feel isolated.

The film Opening titles will include(in order);
