Sound for our title sequence
Music/Sound and Effects
We have added effects on the beginning scene to make it more surreal and interesting so it draws in the audience right at the beginning. We added a blur effect so it looks like the shot is coming from some ones sight which has become blurred from an accident they have been in, so they're vision is split.
After the basement scene we don't use effects on our shots as we want it to feel more realistic than the beginning scene.
Risk Assessment
Risk assessment are essential when filming, they are done in order to prevent any accidents or make us be prepared for them as they come.
The risks include:
- Filming with the camera without a tripod this could carry a risk as you may drop the camera as it is not on a stable stand.
- Before Filming you must make sure that the camera, tripod are all set up properly to prevent damage to the equipment and your self as they may fall or have an electrical fault.
- A short part of my film is filmed outside, whilst filming outside we must ensure that out filming does not disturb the general public. In order to do this we will try and avoid obstructing a public footpath or roads.
- To make sure we don't get any houses or cars in our shot without permission in order to do this we will shoot again, and then make sure that our shot is only of what we need in our shot
Evaluation of each story board
Photographic images of shots from our film (realistic version of story board)
Here is our drawing version of our story board
You can see a change within each of our story boards this is due to new ideas we thought of during the process of filming, but you can still see some similarities for example the shot of the door and the shot in bed on the phone. Also the close up shots and the extreme close up shots of the necklace on the chest.
I think by changing our shots it has made our film more interesting, it has also enabled us to add more shots in.
Film production
My genre for my film is Horror this is for my AS Studies Film Opening.
Here is a some images of some of our shots.
Here is a some images of some of our shots.
My movie is a horror it is about a young girl who invites her friends over for a night in to watch scary movies. But what she doesnt realise is that her and her friends are in for a night that will go down in history. My film opening will give the audience a little insight of the film and make them want to know what happens next, we present only a short snip to engage the audience, thats the main reason why we left our last shot of a girl/ figure screaming.
